Yes, the CL Wilson is very readable. I had a <A HREF="http://www.readforpleasure.com/2007/12/cl-wilson-lord-of-fading-lands.html" REL="nofollow">mixed reaction</A> to the stereotypical alpha male/sweet female relationship and the similar-vintage, similar-gender-roles high fantasy setting, but she spins a good yarn.
